Assessment by Teachers

Assessment by teachers is the process of gathering information / data about learning outcomes of students in aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills that are planned and systematic. Assessment of learning outcomes by teachers in high school is carried out to fulfill formative and summative functions in the form of the daily test and can also be done in the middle of the semester. Midterm assessment is the test conducted by teachers covering several Basic Competences and the execution is not coordinated by the school. Daily assessments can be in the form of tests, observations, assignments, and / or other forms needed that are used for:

1. measuring and knowing the achievement of student competencies;

2. establish an improvement and / or enrichment program based on the level of mastery of competence;

3. improve the learning process; and

4. compile progress reports on learning outcomes

Attitude assessment reports by educators are submitted in the form of a predicate (very good, good, sufficient, or poor) and completed with a description. Knowledge and skills assessment report in the form of numbers (0-100), predicates (A, B, C, or D), and descriptions.
