MY HOST SCHOOL: SMA NEGERI 1 MAJALENGKA
On my exchange student experience in Majalengka, Indonesia, I was assigned to do my practicum in SMA Negeri 1 Majalengka, or SMANSA (as in SMA Negeri Satu, satu meaning one in Bahasa Indonesia) as they call it. SMANSA is a well renowned school in Majalengka. Students and teachers tell us that it is the most famous school in the whole regency, “the most favorite school in Majalengka” as they refer it.
SMANSA was established on August 29, 1961. It is located in JL Raya K.H. Abdul Halim, No. 113, Majalengka Kulon, Majalengka Kabupaten, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. SMANSA is the first senior high school in Majalengka. Through out the years, it continued to excel in different fields. The huge number of trophies displayed in the lobby of the school reflects how it performed through the years. Also, every August, they celebrate the anniversary of the school and it is called "HUT SMANSA".
